Fjernvarme Fyn is planning to reduce the carbon footprint from the waste to energy plant in Odense, Denmark.
The tender will include an EPC contract for the entire Carbon capture plant. (Excluded Building and construction)
The intention is to tender openly to the various technical solutions for technology in the capturing of CO2. Fjernvarme Fyn emits appx. 325 thousand tons of CO2 per year. 50% of the CO2 is biogenic and 50% is fossil. The CO2 is foreseen to be liquified in the carbon capture plant before transportation to an intermediate storage. The tender for the CO2 plant is expected to include carbon capture facilities, storage tanks, waste heat recovery, liquifaction- and loading facilities.
