Engine power verification on fishing vessels in 2024 & 2025

The Danish Fisheries Agency requires the performance of physical verification of engine power on fishing vessels in Denmark. The verification results will determine whether the engine power of the respective fishing vessel, exceeds the power stated on its fishing license.

The task is described in more detail in the attached advertisement and in annex 1 to the advertisement.

Price: The price-score accounts for 50 percent. The bidder shall provide a fixed price for the task of engine verification on 20 vessels, and include a price per test for another optional 10 verifications. The bid and price shall include all costs connected to transportation and accommodation, as well as the conduction of the physical verification and final report. Quality: The quality-score accounts for 50 percent. The bidder must describe how they will approach the task, the method envisaged for the undertaking of verifications and describe an overall plan for the performance of the project in the contracting period. It will weight positively in the assessment of this criterion that the description as far as possible meets the contracting authority’s needs as described in the task description.
